Blackburn Rovers are set to offer striker Benjani boss Steve Kean intends to deliver Benjani Mwaruwari a better deal.
It seemed Benjani was on his way out of Ewood Park after he rejected an offer from the club.
However, boss Steve Kean has revealed he will improve the offer and hopes the striker will join up with them in Hong Kong.
"It was a bit of a breakdown in communications," Kean told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"But I've spoken to him now and hopefully we'll have a new offer we can go forward with."
