Blackburn Rovers boss Kean stunned as owners KO Pavone deal

According to reports Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has been left reeling after the expected signing of Mariano Pavone was vetoed by the club’s owners.

The Mirror claims Kean was ready to hail a new recruit to Ewood Park when Venky’s pulled the plug on the deal.

Venky's have financial restrictions placed on them by the club’s bank and have had to quash the deal.

Pavone had gone through a medical and was ready to fly off with the squad for their pre-season tour of India and is said to be ‘stunned’ by developments.
