A Skelmersdale student is on life support after being set alight following an end of year party.
Glenn Collins, 18, was asleep at a friend's house in Central Manchester after a party when he was allegedly covered in rum and set alight. He is now critically ill and unable to breath without assistance.
Emergency services were called to reports of a man being burned. The student was taken to Wythenshawe Burn Clinic at 4am on Thursday 10th June. He was found to have third degree burns on his face, arms and torso.
Heavily sedated and on a life support machine, he is also suffering from lung and chest infections.
Australian student Jack Brown, 20 and American gap year student Rohan Foley, 21, have been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent. Both are due to appear at Manchester Crown Court for a preliminary hearing.
