This is the pretty 18 year old girl who was brutally murdered in a Lancashire park.
Louise Stephanie Evans suffered multiple knife injuries and head wounds.
Her body was found in a wooded area at Towneley Park, Burnley in the early hours of Tuesday. She is believed to have been a resident at a nearby hostel.
Attempts were made by the ambulance crew to resusitate her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The attack took place in a secluded, wooded area yards from a pitch-and-putt golf course behind Towneley Hall.
Police have not revealed who made the call to the emergency services at 1.40am.
Within hours of the attack six people, who were all known to the victim, had been arrested on suspicion of murder.
DCI Mark Gray, from the Force Major Investigation Team, said: "This was an horrific attack however, I would like to reassure the local community that this was an isolated incident and that people who ordinarily use this park should not be unduly worried."
Three men aged 17, 20 and 22 and one 19 year old woman arrested in connection with Louise’s death have been released no further action.
Two men aged 18 and 20 were still in custody after police were granted a 36 hour extension to question the pair.
