
The five men arrested under the Terrorism Act after being stopped in a van close to Sellafield power station have been released without charge.
Officers from the Civil Nuclear Constabulary made the arrests at around 4.30pm on Monday 2nd of May after conducting a stop check on a vehicle close to the site in West Cumbria.
The investigation was led by the North West Counter Terrorism Unit, supported by the CNC and Cumbria Constabulary.
Officers have conducted a thorough investigation and a decision has been made to release the five men without charge.
