
Police seized cannabis plants with a underworld "street value" of around £13,000 when they raided a flat in Skelmersdale.
Officers from Lancashire Constabulary made the discovery at the property on Banksbarn at around 10.30am on 1st October when they executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Around 32 plants were discovered in the property, spread out over the bedroom and living room. Lighting and cultivation equipment was also recovered.
Sgt Jane Hogan said: “I hope this latest find highlights that we will continue to take action against those involved in drugs as part of our efforts to reduce drug crime in Skelmersdale.
“We always welcome information from the public in our efforts to tackle this type of crime and I urge residents to pass any suspicions about drugs on to the police.”
No one has been arrested but further enquiries continue to be made.
