
A pensioner was taken to hospital after being run-down by a taxi.
The incident happened at around 9pm on September 22nd on Chorley Old Road, Bolton, at its junction with New Hall Lane.
The woman, 86, was crossing the road when she collided with a silver Toyota Avensis.
She was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital to be treated for a possible broken arm and leg, and remains in hospital while her condition is assessed.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to call the Area Two Road Policing Unit on 0161 856 7202.
