Police have identified the body of a woman which washed up on the Fleetwood shore last week.
Officers named the deceased as 33-year-old Wioletta Wolowiec.
The woman, who is of Polish origin, was thought to be living in the Blackburn area at the time of her death.
Police were alerted to the appearance of a body on the shore of The Esplanade by a dog walker in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
A file is being prepared for the coroner who will carry out an inquest into the death which is not being treated as suspicious.
