
The hunt for a sex attacker has swtiched to Lancashire after the prime suspect was caught on CCTV cameras in the county.
Police issued CCTV images of Yorkshireman David Laing Taylor, 47, and appealed to the public for help in tracking him down.
He is wanted in connection with an attack on a 23 year-old woman, that happened off Viaduct Road, Armley, Leeds, at around 8 pm on Monday, 19th July.
Mr Taylor, of Reginald View, Chapeltown, Leeds, is described as white, around 5'8 to 5'10" tall, with very short cropped dark greying hair and tattoos on his arms.
The local Homicide and Major Enquiry Team have discovered that Mr Taylor withdrew benefits at a post office on Hargreaves St, Burnley at around 9.30am on Tuesday 27th July.
He is believed to be dangerous and police have warned the public not to approach the man and to contact police immediately if he is spotted.
Mr Taylor was last seen wearing a white Nike T-shirt with a blue or grey band across the chest, light faded blue jeans and white Reebok trainers. The new images show the wanted man wearing a dark coloured jacket.
He is believed to have connections to the Skipton area of North Yorkshire, and Teesside.
Detective Inspector Lloyd Batley, of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: "We remain keen to trace David Laing Taylor as a matter of urgency and it is possible that he may still be in the Burnley area."
