
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the manslaughter of Adam Rogers who died after being attacked in Blackburn.
The 24-year-old, suffered serious head injuries during an assault in Northgate, in the early hours of Sunday morning after a night out with pals.
He never woke from the attack and died in hospital that afternoon.
His parents, Pat and Dave Rogers, have said they are "devastated".
The teenager, from Rishton, will appear before Blackburn Magistrates' Court later today where he is also accused of violent disorder.
Two 19-year-old men, also from Rishton, have been charged with assault and violent disorder.
Adam had ended the night in the Live Lounge bar when he was followed by his attacker and two other couples.
After leaving the bar the group was standing next to the Gladstone Monument when Mr Rogers was knocked unconscious.
He was rushed to the Royal Blackburn Hospital, but despite their best efforts doctors couldn't save his life.
