Police are appealing for information after a student was indecently assaulted in Preston.
A 16-year-old girl was attacked at 1.50pm on November 15 last year on grassland near to the Homebase store on New Hall Lane.
The girl was approached by a man who told her he was from Czechoslovakia before indecently assaulting her.
He is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, 40 - 50 years, short black hair, with acne scars on his left cheek. His front teeth were crooked and he was wearing a blue and black Berghaus raincoat and black trousers.
At the time, a man was walking his dog in the area and an elderly man walked past the victim.
Police have released an Evofit of the attacker and members of the public are encouraged to come forward if they recognise him.
Detective Inspector Dave McKenna from Preston CID said, “This is a disturbing attack on a young girl in a busy area. I would appeal for the elderly man and the man walking his dog to come forward and contact us as I believe they may have information that could assist this investigation.
“The description of the suspect is detailed and specific and in conjunction with the Evofit I would ask that anyone with knowledge of his identity to come forward.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Preston police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or on-line at Crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
