Police are appealing for information after two incidents of indecent exposure in Skelmersdale.

The first happened around 1.50pm on Thursday 10th November on the car park of St Edmunds RC Church, Tarlswood.

A 28 year woman was sitting in her car with her one year old child when a man walking across the car park exposed himself to her before making off.

The man was described as having short, black, scruffy hair and was wearing three quarter length jeans with socks and boots.

In another incident on Thursday 17th November, a man exposed himself to a 61 year old woman on a footpath on Fenney Court, Eskdale around 7.45pm.

The man was described as having a pale complexion, aged around 38-40 years old with a round face and unshaven, dark stubble.

He was wearing a black knitted hat, a black tracksuit top or bomber jacket with a zip down the front which was partially unzipped over a white shirt and black tracksuit bottoms.

Police are appealing to anyone with information and have noted that there is nothing to suggest that the two incidents are linked.

PC Louise Gallear said: “Both women were left distressed following these incidents and we need to find whoever is responsible.

“If anybody has any information about either of these offences then I would urge them to contact police.”

Anybody with any information can contact police on 08451 25 35 45 or you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or on-line at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
