Police are hunting a man who sexually assaulted a 14 year old girl in Lancashire.
The teenager was on the 219 Stagecoach bus in Beswick, at around 3.25pm on Friday 23 September, when she noticed a man staring at her.
After getting off at Ashton Old Road, near its junction with Kay Street, the offender began to follow her, walking in front of her and continuously asking what her name was.
The youngster ran off and attempted to climb over a fence before the man sexually assaulted her.
DC Ian Hatfield, from Bradford Park CID, said: "The victim has understandably been left traumatised by her ordeal and feared for her safety.
Now police have released a CCTV image of a man wanted in connection with the incident.
He is described as being asian, in his mid 20s, 5ft 11in tall, of skinny build and had black spiky hair. He was wearing jeans and a black jacket.
DC Hatfield added: "The image we have released is of high quality and I believe someone out there knows who this man is."
