Two brothers, who terrorised residents in a Lancashire neighbourhood, have each been given two year Anti-Social Behaviour Orders.
Blackburn Magistrates heard how teenage tearaways Dylan, 15, and Scott Hibbert, 14, had caused significant problems for people living in Shadsworth.
Police had received a catalogue of complaints about the pair, who would intimidate residents, damage property, swear and shout, throw stones and kick fences down.
They drank alcohol on the streets and abused local residents, and one neighbour reported that a firework had been put up his drainpipe, and his front window had been smashed by a paving slab.
Sgt Mark Cruise said: "Their behaviour has been unbearable for residents living in the area. They targeted many properties and members of the community living on Lamlash Road leaving them feeling vulnerable, frightened and in some cases, suicidal.
"I hope this action reassures residents that we do act on their concerns whilst sending a strong message to those who commit anti-social behaviour that it will not be tolerated.
The ASBOs prevent the boys from entering the Shadsworth area of Blackburn at any time, and they must not be outdoors in a public place between 9pm and 7am daily.
The brothers must not associate with James Meadowcroft, 24, Tori Duxbury, 15, or Arthur Joscilncki, 16, unless attending a supervised activity organised by a professional organisation.
