A man who subjected his victim to a series of horrific sexual assaults 20 years ago has been jailed for 15 years.
Christian Fisher, 37, of Albert Street, Fleetwood, carried out the attacks on a number of occasions between 1991 and 1992.
At one point, Fisher tied his victim to a radiator in his then Chatsworth Avenue home.
He was found guilty of seven counts of rape, two of false imprisonment and one of indecent assault.
DC Clare Wilson, Fleetwood CID, said: "Due to the historical nature of the offences, this was a complex case to investigate but I hope that today's sentencing will now be of comfort to Fisher's victim.
"Fisher is a dangerous individual who subjected his victim to a series of horrendous assaults and the local community should be reassured that he is now behind bars."
