Have you ever walked past the BBC on Oxford Road in Manchester and wondered what goes on inside? This year is your last chance to come on a tour of New Broadcasting House before the big move to the BBC's new home at MediaCityUK in Salford in 2011.

There are daily tours available to give you an insight into how it all works, from BBC North West tonight to Radio Manchester to the world famous home of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.

Your friendly guides will show you the studio where Gordon Burns presents North West Tonight (sit in Gordon's chair and stand on the spot where Dianne presents the weather) Take a view of the technological side in the gallery and be sure not to press any buttons!

You will be invited into the intimate surroundings of BBC Radio Manchester's Studios - quietly - watch out for that red bulb telling you which presenters are "On Air"!

The magnificent home of the world famous BBC Philharmonic Orchestra is an awe inspiring space, where the slightest sound is magnified by the acoustics.

You can have a go at presenting the weather and take part in a special recording of a radio drama - complete with sound effects!

There will also be a chance to hear about the exciting plans for the BBC's move to MediaCityUK at Salford Quays, and what opportunities this will bring for the North West and beyond!

BBC Tours run regularly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, lasting for approximately 2 hours. Open to anybody over the aged 12+.
