Celebrity chef Marco Pierre White will host a grand opening event at his new restaurant in West Lancashire.
The event at The Swan Inn, takes place on Thursday 25th February, and will feature a lunch and dinner service to mark the official launch of his first North West venue.
White, known as "the Godfather of modern British cooking", will welcome members of the public, his friends and a smattering of local celebrities, to join him at the venue.
Guests will be treated to a three-course meal featuring some of the celebrity chef’s favourite dishes, as well as champagne and canapés upon arrival at The Swan in Aughton, near Ormskirk.
White will also take part in a Q&A session, with guests also receiving a signed copy of his latest book ‘Marco Pierre White's Great British Feast.’
White said: “We felt it highly appropriate to hold a normal dinner service for the launch event, as it epitomises everything we are trying to create at The Swan – a venue that is renowned for good quality food in an environment that is inviting, not intimidating.
“As a village inn, our customers are as important as our food, so we want local residents and restaurant-goers to join us at the launch. I’m really looking forward to meeting the neighbours and getting their feedback on the venue.”
