Wigan Athletic are reported to have accepted an offer from Ipswich Town for striker Jason Scotland.

Latics boss Roberto Martinez signed Scotland from his former club Swansea for £2 million a year ago, but the striker struggled to make an impression in the Premier League.

Roy Keane has been keen to take the striker to Portman Road and Martinez has confirmed a bid has been accepted.

"There has been a bid accepted from Ipswich but another two Championship clubs have asked about Jason," he said. "Jason will make a decision in the next 24 hours and we will take it from there."

Ipswich are believed to have offered £750,000 for Scotland.
