BBC's Bang Goes The Theory joins The Big Bang Fair this weekend at Manchester Central (formerly GMex) along with Braniac Live and Punk Science.

Bang Goes The Theory looks at how science shapes the world around us, and aims to make science fascinating - and fun. The show's presenters travel the world looking at the scientific breakthroughs that affect us, whether they're in cosmology, zoology, medicine or any other field.

And, from now until September, the Big Bang roadshow will be bringing science stunts and experiments from the show to various locations around the UK... There'll be plenty of opportunity to get stuck in, and explosions are guaranteed!

With their own brand of inimitable science presenters Liz Bonnin, Dallas Campbell and Jem Stansfield tackle the science questions that you've always wanted answered.

And, this Saturday (13th March), the public invited to enjoy live 50 minute long Bang Goes The Theory shows in the Manchester Central main auditorium.

Tour presenter James Soper, with assistance from some of the Bang Goes The Theory presenters, will bring science stunts and clips from the TV show as well as demonstrating some cool science that can be done at home.

So, bring the kids, come along and watch a show, meet the presenters and release your inner scientist. BUT you will need to register your place before arrival at Manchester Central - to register or for more information on the Big Bang Fair please visit http://www.thebigbangfair.co.uk/

And you can watch series two of BBC1's Bang Goes the Theory Mondays at 7.30pm from 15th March.
