Bookies have made troubled pop singer Peter Doherty odds-on favourite to be the first celebrity busted for drugs in the New Year.
Top bookie Paddy Power has installed troubled singer Pete Doherty as their odds-on favourite to be the first celebrity arrested on drugs charges in 2010.
The Babyshambles frontman was charged yesterday with possessing heroin after an incident at Gloucester Crown Court where he was appearing on unrelated drink-driving charges.
Paddy Power make Doherty their 8/11 favourite ahead of ‘Back to Black’ singer Amy Winehouse at 5/1 and her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil at 6/1. Less likely contenders according to the bookie include former tennis ace Andre Agassi at 20/1 and Prince Harry at 50/1.
