Jordan's new lover, cage fighter Alex Reid has not officially split from his long term girlfriend Marie Thornton, it has emerged.
Jordan – real name Katie Price – is said to have invited the hunky fighter back to her hotel room while she was on her promotional book tour in Liverpool last week.
Guests at Liverpool's plush Malmaison hotel complained of a "constant banging" noise heard from Jordan's room the night before a book-signing session for her new novel Sapphire.
The night of passion came hours after Jordan, 31, proclaimed that she was not in a relationship - despite giving the former Hollyoaks star a 4,000-pound Chanel watch for his 34th birthday.
It now appears the pair have been dating for two weeks, despite ex-Hollyoaks star Alex still being listed as 'in a relationship' on his myspace social networking page.
As more pictures of the couple emerged, a pal of Marie Thornton said she was “in pieces” after reading about Reid’s antics with the busty model.
The friend said: “They were childhood sweethearts, but Katie has been chasing him for a while and it looks like he has caved in."
According to pals, the last time Marie saw former Hollyoaks actor Reid was at his 34th birthday party nine days ago.
Jordan's spokesman insists the fighter is just friends with the model and he is acting as her bodyguard while she promotes her latest book. But he could not explain why he went back to her bedroom with her.
On his own MySpace page, Reid states he is “in a relationship” and his interests include “my girlfriend and her little boy”.
Jordan and Reid were thought to be holed up at her house in Brighton yesterday but he is expected to soon return to Aldershot to his job as a cage fighter trainer.
