Britain's latest singing sensation Pixie Lott has been ordered to shut her pretty mouth as often as possible.
Worried bosses are fretting that the chatty 18-year-old will wreck her vocal cords by nattering too much on the phone.
Pixie, whose debut single Mama Do hit the charts at number 1, said: "Being on the phone all the time is the worst thing for my voice and I get told not to do it.
"But because I'm really busy I try to stay in contact with my friends that way.
"One time I had to rest my voice for a week and that was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life because I love talking.
"I have to drink lots of herbal tea and try to warm up as much as I can.
"Plus if I have a big show coming up then I won't go out beforehand."
Huge problem really since Pixie is in such high demand, which will only increase once her debut album Turn It Up lands in the shops on September 7.
